WATERCOLOR DOGS YOUTH ART STUDIO is dedicated to quality fine art education in a creative, encouraging and fun environment. Our goal is to expose youth to a variety of art media and instructors encouraging creativity and thinking "out of the box". The studio welcomes all youth and adults young at heart that have an interest in the arts. Students involved with the arts out perform their peers in academic achievement.
Pam McLaughlin is the owner of Watercolor Dogs. After years as a physician practicing emergency and family medicine, Pam changed careers and is a professional watercolor artist and art teacher.
She knows first hand how art improves visual skills, memory and creativity and believes art was a major component to her academic achievement. Pam's belief in the power of art has led her to open Watercolor Dogs Youth Art Studio.
Pam has studied with Scott Christensen, David Drummond and John Fawcett . She specializes in sporting dogs but also paints children, horses and landscapes. Pam's watercolors are in private collections throughout the country.
